1) One of my sons got turned down (again) for Social Security disability. This, for a disability he's had since he was born but which we didn't find out about until he was 10 or so. He was put on SSI then, until his dad died, at which point he was put on Survivors' Benefits, which ended when he hit 18. However, he's still disabled. It's a chromosomal problem; he's missing part of the 15th one. That darn thing hasn't grown back; with W.'s veto on stem-cell research, it doesn't look like that sucker will any time soon. But he was denied again--and the lawyer who was representing us wrote and said, in essence, "See ya. I quit." ARGH!!!!
2) I got accepted to a local university. Hip-hip-hooray! Mass Communications; Journalism. But I'm still in the process of doing 101 things to get ready.
3) Life in general.
Ahhhh...It's a great life, if ya don't weaken.
